Trials vs paying customers
A free-trial signup is counted as a referral, but commissions start only when the customer pays. Commissions are calculated on what the customer actually paid, excluding taxes.
Commission tiers
20% of every eligible payment. 25% once you reach 20 active paying referrals. It stays even if some customers cancel later.
Getting paid
Commissions are held for 14 days after each payment (refund protection), then you can withdraw once your balance reaches $50.00, by PayPal or Zelle. Bank transfer is coming soon.
Questions
When do I earn a commission?
When a customer you referred pays for a Hookwren plan. Free trials don't earn anything until the customer pays.
How long do referrals stay mine?
Once someone signs up through your link (within 30 days of their last click on it), they stay attributed to you for as long as they're a customer.
Why is my commission pending?
Each commission is held for 14 days after the payment, in case of refunds or chargebacks. Then it becomes available to withdraw.
What happens if a customer gets a refund?
The matching share of the commission is reversed. If it was already paid to you, it's deducted from your next commissions.
Can I refer myself?
No. Self-referrals, fake accounts and paid ads bidding on the Hookwren brand are not allowed and can lead to suspension.
How do I get 25%?
Reach 20 active paying referrals: your rate goes up to 25% for good, on every future payment.
